What sets AC/GC schools apart is that we’re a family. I have made some great friendships with co-workers over the years. I care about each and every one of the students I have in class. I love watching them grow and continue to learn even when they’re not in my class anymore.

Members of the Adair and Casey Fire Departments and the Guthrie County Sheriff's Department were at the A-C Elementary on Monday with a Fire House - a demonstration on how to be careful if there is a fire in your home. Kindergarten - 4th graders participated in going through the demonstration.

This will be my third year teaching special education.

My family is spread out all over the country. My parents and one of my brothers are in Iowa, but I also have family in Missouri, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas. My immediate family enjoys fishing in Canada every summer and spending time together when we can.

I work at Fareway. I can do just about anything around the store, but most of my time is spent filling online orders and working in produce. Outside of Fareway, I spend two weeks volunteering at Vacation Bible School. The highlight of my summer is usually fishing in Canada with my family over the Fourth of July. I also spend a lot of time reading and doing puzzles.

What sets AC/GC Schools apart is the staff, students, and families really are a family. We communicate, work together, and check in with each other to make sure everyone is succeeding to the best of their abilities.
