To say the culture is thriving in these buildings is an understatement. In the past few days we have seen the best teamwork and sportsmanship by our students during fun events such as track and field day, kickball tournaments, and a JH dodgeball tournament. Not only have students worked hard in their academics, but they are good people! We are so proud of our Chargers!

The preschoolers committed to being Chargers for kindergarten.

The 3rd and 6th graders got to visit the fourth graders this morning and play their cardboard arcade games.

The fourth graders finally got to hold the chicks they learned so much about.

Congrats to our Chargers of the Week who are safe, responsible, and respectful!

We have some pretty proud 4th graders taking care of the chicks they hatched.

5th grade enjoyed touring the capital and science center today. The star show at the planetarium was a favorite.

3rd grade spent the day on the Trail of Corn starting at Neely-Kinyon Research Farm and ended their day at the Adair County Fairgrounds learning all about Iowas most produced crop… CORN!

A second grade favorite is the blindfolded taste test after learning about the different food groups. Sweets were a favorite, prunes were not. 😊

First grade loved planting these beautiful flowers for their loved ones!

We had some sneaky fun this week with a staff underground spirit week. It was fun to watch the kids figure it out.

Here are the Chargers of the Week!

Join us for Elementary Track and Field Day on May 19!

Congratulations to Adair-Casey Elementary who won Stomp Madness by coding with Unruly Splats. Our team, The Alley Oops has won two years in a row. We love coding and making learning engaging and fun.

Our top two fundraising students for the American Heart Association got to slime Mr. Den Beste and pie Mr. Shull. Thank you to everyone that supported our students.

These Chargers of the Week are safe, responsible, and respectful. We also celebrated our Charger of the Month with a Beach Bundle! We loved mama shark being able to visit.
