The AC/GC Charger Wrestling team begins their season tonight at East Union. Wrestling begins at 5:30PM. They will have duals against East Union, Nodaway Valley, & West Central Valley.

A couple weeks ago the Intro to Health Careers class attended the DMACC Healthcare Day at Mary Greeley in Ames. The students were able to tour the hospital and participate in hands on activities with different departments including:

⚡️Starting IVs on fake arms
⚡️Listening to heart sounds
⚡️Checking pulses
⚡️Flushing an IV on their SIM lab manikin
⚡️Inserting nasogastric tubes
⚡️Looking at bacteria under a microscope

This was an amazing experience and opportunity for students to sample a day in the life of many different healthcare careers. In attendance were Jaci Baker, Jerzee Huss, Trinity Calhoun, and Kailee Kautzky.

Due to secondary road conditions, ACGC Schools will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow, Monday, December 1st, with no morning activities.

The AC/GC Girls basketball team kicks off their season tonight at IKM-Manning. JV will play two quarters starting at 6:00PM with Varsity to follow.
