October is National Principals Month. Thank you to Mr. Pate, Mr. Den Beste, and Mr. Eischeid for all that they do!
Our JH fall sports will wrap up by the end of the week. Volleyball, football, and cross country had a fun joint practice to end the season. A huge shoutout to Coach Jen for organizing our exciting games!
UPDATE: The WCAC Cross Country Meet will be tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, starting at 4PM at AC/GC High School. Good luck, Runners!

These Chargers of the Week are beyond respectful, responsible, and safe!
We got some pictures of our JH XC runners in action! We were ecstatic to compete and our hard work showed with ALL runners having a personal record! Thank you to Charger Running Club for coming out in the wet weather to support us! Also a thanks to Coach Soda, Coach Holmes, and the HS runners for letting us practice with them this week. Thanks to them we were ready for Charger Hill!
The JH band continued their adventures today coming home with 1st place in the Creston Balloon Days Parade! High school got 2nd place! We are so proud of these musicians.
8th graders are learning about early exploration. Today they tested out some ships of their own to see how different materials and technology can change the reliability of a ship.
Our band rocks! We had an exciting night playing at the football game with the high school.

JH football, volleyball, and XC had their first games/meet last night. We believe in not only developing athletes, but developing good people. So proud of these students for representing the Chargers well!
The JH Cross Country team had the privilege to join Charger Running Club today! It's a wonderful opportunity to mentor our younger athletes and gain wisdom from Coach Alyse!

This position requires a coaching authorization from the Iowa Department of Education.
