
AC/GC junior high students spent part of the morning at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds pulling weeds, painting, and trimming bushes as part of the junior high's community service month.






JH students performed some work around the school this morning as part of the school's community service project. Over the next three weeks, students will be going to Adair, Casey, and Guthrie Center to help with cleaning projects.

JH track practice for today, Friday, April 26, has been canceled.

Installation of the new bleachers has started at the A-C campus.

Adair-Casey Elementary has been nominated for the Unruliest School of the Year Award for implementing coding across the building using a fun program called Unruly Splats. Elizabeth Moreland was also nominated individually for her work in implementing coding and Splats throughout the building. Please take time to vote for Elizabeth under Unruliest Techie and for Adair-Casey Elementary under Unruliest School. Voting closes May 3.

8th grade presented Endangered Species posters to the elementary classes this morning.





Tonight's JH track meet at West Central Valley has been canceled. There will NOT be practice after school.

Tonight's JH track meet at Van Meter has been postponed. There will be practice after school and the shuttle will run to Guthrie Center.

The JH band and chorus presented their Spring concert. Everyone did a great job.

AC/GC JH students viewed the eclipse this afternoon using their special sunglasses.

Students and faculty wore blue and yellow for Down Syndrome Awareness Day.



Members of the AC/GC FFA were at the junior high for AG Day. The high school members held seminars to inform the junior high students what FFA is all about.

The A-C Elementary and the AC/GC Junior High have some current and future openings. Come and join the Chargers team.
