Kiersten Knobbe attended the Western Iowa Regional Science Fair, in Fort Dodge, this past weekend, March 25th, 2023. Once again, she represented herself and ACGC well!
Kiersten received the following awards, scholarships, and prizes:
$500 Scholarship to Iowa Central Community College
Association for Women Geoscientists Certificate
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Award
U.S. Army Award
Stockholm Junior Water Prize Award
1st Place Overall Category winner in Physical Sciences
International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) Finalist (This means she will travel to Dallas, TX, in May to compete. This is also her third year in a row to be selected!)
