Homecoming Early Out- Friday, September 22, 2 hours
Friday, September 22, will be a 2 hour early release for homecoming. The High School Student
Council is working hard to develop a fun week of activities for students, alumni, and each of our
communities. The booster club is also working on tailgate activities before the game on
September 22nd.
Our High School Student Council, along with the Booster Club Homecoming Committee, have worked hard to give our community the opportunity to get involved and celebrate AC/GC Schools! We would love to see you and your family at the parade after school on Friday, attend the pep rally, the tailgate activities, coronation at halftime of the football game, and cheer on the Chargers to a victory Friday night! Our opponent for homecoming will be the Riverside Bulldogs. Go Chargers!

- Tuesday - BBQ Dads and Soccer Moms
- Wednesday - Class Color Day - 6 pm Ironman Volleyball in the high school gym with Powerpuff Football to follow on the football field
- Thursday - Cowboys in the Jungle (Country/Cowboy) - 4:30 pm - Home high school cross country meet
- Friday - Spirit Day
- 2:15 pm Homecoming parade down State St. and ending at football field
- Following the parade - Pep rally at football field
- 3:30 pm - Cross Country starts running the football in Adair
- 4 - 6:30 pm - Football Tailgate hosted by the AC/GC Booster Club

School Board Elections
School board elections will be held this November 7th. Three seats are open in the Guthrie
Center CSD, along with two seats in the Adair-Casey CSD. The last day to file paperwork with
Sarah Sheeder, Board Secretary, at the AC/GC Junior High or High School is Thursday,
September 21. Deadline is 5:00 PM.
Paperwork may be picked up at the High School or Junior High business office.
