Calendar Change- Snow Days

With the inclement weather and lost school days this past winter, the board approved two additional student contact days. Those make up days have been added to the end of this year's calendar. The last day of school for students will now be Friday, May 24th, a two hour early dismissal.

Virtual Snow Days

This winter you may have heard of schools utilizing a virtual snow day in order to avoid making up numerous days at the end of the school year. With some collaboration between our administration and teacher leaders, we developed guidelines for virtual snow days for all AC/GC Schools. (See below)

This spring, we would like to prepare for virtual snow days by communicating with our students and parents the expectations of a virtual snow day. With the forecast for a possible snow event next Monday into Tuesday, our staff has prepared for a virtual snow day in the event one is needed.

Communication for the virtual snow day will come through our student management system, Infinite Campus, just like we communicate all other inclement weather delays and cancellations.

Please contact your building principal if you have any questions or concerns. Hopefully we don't need to worry about snow until next winter!
