The AC/GC band and choir students have seen great success over the past few weeks in competitions!
The 6th grade and JH students performed at the solo/ensemble contest with the following students earning awards:
6th Grade
1st - Hadlee Morey, clarinet
2nd - Trinity Stonehocker & Riley Mathre, ensemble
3rd - Crayton McCool, trombone
JH
1st - Leo Mendoza, trumpet
2nd - Valia Roen, flute
3rd - Kennedy Reinhart, timpani
High School musicians also competed to be members of the State FFA Chorus & Band. Allison Drake, Emmarae Ellis, & Montana Douglas were selected for the choir and Laurin Davis for the band on alto saxophone.

The A-C elementary students presented the PK-3 Spring Concert tonight.
ACGC will not have school on Wednesday, March 19, due to the predicted inclement weather. Wednesday will be a virtual learning day for students, with no activities.

Here's a look at the week ahead. Reminder, there is a 2 hour early out Wednesday and no school Thursday & Friday!

Due to the impending weather concerns, ACGC Schools will be dismissing 1 hour early today, Friday, March 14. No after-school activities.

Due to poor gravel road conditions, the Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center bus routes will operate on hard surface roads only on Friday, March 7th.

The AC & GC 6th Grade Solo & Ensemble Contest scheduled for Thursday, March 6, has been postponed.

ACGC will have no school on Thursday, March 6, due to secondary road conditions. Thursday will be a virtual learning day for students, check your email for further instructions. No morning activities.

7th Grader Lexi Van Meter spread some sunshine to faculty and staff at the junior high Friday with the Sunshine Cart.

The AC/GC JH Drama Department presented Parents Just Don't Understand Thursday night. The students did an amazing job.

Not only has our football program seen amazing success over the past several years, our other athletic programs have as well. Here's some highlights on a our volleyball & basketball programs (more to come on other athletic programs!).
At AC/GC, our students have the opportunity to not only be multi-sport athletes, but find success in each of them while also getting involved in fine arts and other programs. It's a great time to be a Charger!

Let's highlight another program that's seen tremendous success. AC/GC's FFA program has continued to grow both in members & accolades over the past 3 years. FFA is geared towards preparing students for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture. This is just another way AC/GC is fostering the next generation of leaders!
