JH track practice for today, Friday, April 26, has been canceled.
Both the AC and GC Elementary enjoyed a field trip at Springbrook.
Installation of the new bleachers has started at the A-C campus.
Adair-Casey Elementary has been nominated for the Unruliest School of the Year Award for implementing coding across the building using a fun program called Unruly Splats. Elizabeth Moreland was also nominated individually for her work in implementing coding and Splats throughout the building. Please take time to vote for Elizabeth under Unruliest Techie and for Adair-Casey Elementary under Unruliest School. Voting closes May 3.

1st grade saw a show at the Civic Center followed by a picnic at Triumph Park.

The Scholastic Buy One, Get One Book Fair will be held April 22-April 25. Each class has been assigned to visit the Book Fair on a certain day. Family Night will be held on April 25 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. You may also sign up for the eWallet digital payment option that allows parents to link purchases to a credit or debit card and avoids the hassle of sending cash or checks to school. 8th grade presented Endangered Species posters to the elementary classes this morning.
Two 6th graders earned their "Black Belts: in Band by completing all the assigned songs in their method books.
Tonight's JH track meet at West Central Valley has been canceled. There will NOT be practice after school.

4th grade was clucking with egg-citement as they candled the eggs they're hatching. We have lots of healthy chicks growing!
We love building relationships with our students! Many classrooms do lunch bunch where the teachers and students get to enjoy each other's company in a small group over lunch. Pictured here are some 2nd graders with Mrs. Bonacci, Mr. Dahl, and Mrs. Moreland.
Tonight's JH track meet at Van Meter has been postponed. There will be practice after school and the shuttle will run to Guthrie Center.
We enjoyed looking at the solar eclipse today. A huge thank you to Chris Morey and Poet for donating eclipse glasses for our students!
AC/GC JH students viewed the eclipse this afternoon using their special sunglasses.
