Second graders had five minutes to do a tall building structure and then another five minutes for a strong building structure. Here are some of the tallest and strongest buildings.

AC/GC junior high students spent part of the morning at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds pulling weeds, painting, and trimming bushes as part of the junior high's community service month.
JH students performed some work around the school this morning as part of the school's community service project. Over the next three weeks, students will be going to Adair, Casey, and Guthrie Center to help with cleaning projects.
Our junior high students are ending the year with a community service class. Not only are they learning about being a good community member, but they have some fun opportunities to practice community service around the building.

JH track practice for today, Friday, April 26, has been canceled.
Both the AC and GC Elementary enjoyed a field trip at Springbrook.
Installation of the new bleachers has started at the A-C campus.
Adair-Casey Elementary has been nominated for the Unruliest School of the Year Award for implementing coding across the building using a fun program called Unruly Splats. Elizabeth Moreland was also nominated individually for her work in implementing coding and Splats throughout the building. Please take time to vote for Elizabeth under Unruliest Techie and for Adair-Casey Elementary under Unruliest School. Voting closes May 3.

The Scholastic Buy One, Get One Book Fair will be held April 22-April 25. Each class has been assigned to visit the Book Fair on a certain day. Family Night will be held on April 25 from 4:00-7:00 P.M.
